Wild Game Processing in Northeast Wisconsin: From the Field to Your Table
Hunting season is about more than the harvest. It’s about tradition, time spent outdoors, and filling the freezer with quality meat your family can enjoy all year long. At The Meat Block, we understand the work that goes into every successful hunt, which is why we take pride in providing dependable, high-quality wild game processing in Northeast Wisconsin.
Whether you’re bringing in a whole deer or already have your venison trimmed and ready for processing, our team is here to help you get the most out of your harvest.
Professional Deer Processing
Proper processing makes all the difference when it comes to the quality of your venison. Our experienced team handles your deer with care from drop-off through pickup.
We offer whole deer processing as well as processing for hunters who prefer to bring in their own clean, boneless venison trim. Depending on your order, your venison can be turned into fresh cuts or a variety of specialty products.
Our goal is simple: provide hunters with an easy processing experience and great-tasting products they’ll be excited to bring home.
More Than Just Basic Venison Cuts
One of the best parts of harvesting a deer is deciding what to make with it.
At The Meat Block, hunters can choose from a variety of venison products, including:
-
Snack sticks
-
Summer sausage
-
Smoked sausage
-
Fresh sausage
-
Brats
-
Ground venison
-
Jerky and other specialty products
-
Traditional venison cuts
Whether you want to stock your freezer with everyday favorites or turn part of your harvest into snacks for hunting trips, parties, and weekends at the cabin, there are plenty of options to choose from.
Convenient Whole Deer Drop-Off
Hunting doesn’t always happen during normal business hours. That’s why The Meat Block offers a convenient self-service whole deer drop-off system during deer season.
Hunters can complete their processing order, follow the provided tagging instructions, securely identify their deer, and place it in the designated refrigerated drop-off area.
Customers can also create an account to receive updates about their processing order and know when their products are ready for pickup.
This system is designed to make deer drop-off easier, especially after an evening hunt when getting your deer properly cooled and processed quickly matters.
Bringing in Venison Trim?
We also accept properly prepared venison trim for hunters who process their own deer but want The Meat Block to make their favorite sausage and specialty products.
Before bringing in your trim, make sure it is clean, properly cooled or frozen, and free from excess hair, dirt, bone, and other contaminants. Starting with quality trim helps us produce a better finished product.
Trim drop-offs can be brought directly into the store during normal business hours.
Why Hunters Choose The Meat Block
Wild game processing is something we take seriously. Hunters put countless hours into scouting, preparing, and hunting, and the meat they bring home deserves the same attention.
At The Meat Block, we focus on quality products, convenient service, clear communication, and a wide selection of processing options.
We proudly serve hunters from Appleton, Greenville, Green Bay, Neenah, Kaukauna, Oshkosh, the Fox Valley, and communities throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
