Woods Smoked Meats has been in business for 68 years. Edward Woods, Head Wurstmacher and President has worked here for 45 years. Every product and recipe has been carefully developed in-house over the years, resulting in more than 600 awards from state, state fairs, and national cured meat competitions. Woods has also won 17 international medals from shows in Germany including a gold medal for its bacon.

Woods sells his bacon under the “Sweet Betsy from Pike” brand in his store in Bowling Green, Missouri. Ed Woods is a meat crafting legend and was inducted into the American Cured Meats Hall of Fame in 1995. This bacon is nothing short of legendary.

Bacon Care and Cooking Instructions

When receiving your order, promptly refrigerate all packages of bacon that will be cooked within the next three (3) days. Any bacon that will not be eaten in the next three days should be stored in the freezer.
