Hewitt’s Meat Processing Inc. was founded in 1939 by Marvin and Crystal Hewitt. Upon returning from World War II Marvin and Crystal’s son Jim and his wife Evelyn became involved eventually purchasing the business. Jim and Evelyn owned and operated the business until 1992. Jim and Evelyn’s daughter Barb and her husband Tom purchased the business opening a retail outlet in Marshfield in 2012. Current owners John and Amanda Franseen mark the 4th generation carrying on the Hewitt’s tradition of quality.
Over the last 4 generations the outstanding Quality of Hewitt’s products has never been compromised. Throughout the years tradition, family recipes and continuing education have been major factors in both customer satisfaction and numerous, State, National and International Awards.
